Alongside the director announcement, the film's producing team was confirmed as Andrew Macdonald and Allon Reich (Garland's regular collaborators at DNA Films), Peter Rice, and - notably for fans of the source material - George R. R. Martin and Vince Gerardis, both credited as producers on the film.
